Adam’s OD John Henry

It’s lean, mean, and OD green.

Adam from SD decided it was time to upgrade his 10 year old FS bike with something reliable, fast, and smooth.

We started out with a medium-large John Henry frame size, then swapped the sliding dropouts for Paragon Wright dropouts, and the standard BB shell for a PF30 specific shell. Total weight was sub 23 lbs.

We spec’d his John Henry with a full SRAM XX 2×10 build kit, including Noir World Cup carbon bar & seatpost, and No Tubes Arch 29 rims laced to DT 240 hubs. The WTB Weirwolf LT tires keep the rubber on the trail. (and they’re comfy!)

Adam picked up his bike today in Idyllwild. We went out for a quick shakedown ride (it’s hot out there!) and got the bike dialed in. I can’t wait to hear stories from the trail on this bike.
