Open for Business!

It’s official- we even put up the sign to commemorate the event

Yesterday I became a full-time Siren employee. (Although I have been for a while- now it’s the only place I work) Mary cooked a celebratory lunch & brought it by the shop.

So here we are, on the launch pad… busy day. Gotta get to work!

  1. Hey amigo, we both became CEOs in the same year.

  2. Living the dream. Congrats!

  3. WOOHOO! This is truly a reason to celebrate. I’m so happy to see you making this happen. We couldn’t have imagined it a few years ago, but it’s official. I think this is going to be your best summer ever.

  4. You are the man! Way to go brother! I look more than forward to making you a little more successful!
    Build On.

  5. I feel a whole lotta Mojo on the hill.

  6. Livin’ the dream- yes I’ll admit it’s fun, but even more work than I’d thought possible. The simultaneous day job/night job thing got really, really hard to pull off. Said “no” to rides constantly (for about 2 years) and gained 10 lbs, lost fitness to ride much more than 1 hour, stress stress stress… One foot in front of the other type stuff.

On the other hand, work & fun aren’t really all the different now.

Lucas, let’s build you a bike. You too Dave! Matt, for that matter. Roadie? Mary, no more bikes for a while. 😉

  7. Hey, CONGRATS! Really glad to see you make it happen!

  8. Wahooooo! Way to go Brendan, super exciting times. I have said for awhile that 2008 is the year of kicking ass (very different from 2002, the year my ass got kicked). Glad to see that the Colliers are joining forces in the Year of Kicking Ass. 🙂 Celebrations are in order!!!

  9. Oh yes- Celebration… This Saturday at the Collier Compound. Swimming, grilling, perhaps even some debauchery!

  10. Great news Brendan! I love the shop sign too.

  11. Congrats! I predict much success for you, Brendan. It’s been great getting to know you a little bit and to have ridden on of your creations for a short time.

Looking forward to seeing what’s around the corner for you and Mary. Take care!

  12. Awesome! I love the sign. You’ll do great with the “new” full-time job. 😉

  13. I know that your late grandfather would be proud of you. You know that your great-grandfather worked on bicycles when he was young in Minnesota.

Good luck to you and Mary!
