Quickie Song Review

Just stumbled on this review of the SSong 29 today, at bikefix.net

I’m going to finish off the greenhouse today with the kids, then (hopefully) get ready for an overnighter bikepacking trip with Mary. Still haven’t unpacked the trailer from the Pueblo!

  1. Nice write-up…looks like Marc B really liked the bike! 🙂

  2. Brendan- thanks for going over the Song with me. Despite being massive, it felt awesome- yet another object of desire, flying with it 5 or 6 times should justify it the outlay… Lighter & cheaper than a Moots. How about a hard (type 3) anodized option? My ML7/5 looks awesome after a couple of years’ riding, it saves weight, and could even be Teflon sealed (vs. hot water sealed) to keep it pretty during muddy rides? Whaddaya say? Our local anodizer’s lot price is $150-250…

  3. Hi Marc,
Actually I sent off our first of a number of frames to be anodized. We’re using a shop in Idaho that seems to take FOREVER to work with. That said, I’m excited to see how the frames come back.
    Where are you located?
btw- you can email me anytime at brendan at sirenbicycles doot com
